So, I turned 23 last thursday, which means its time to update the journal!

I'm currently coordinating the Research & Development dept in one of London's many and awesome post-production houses. The people there are amazing and scary-clever, and a few of my friends have jobs in nearby places too.

After i got over my complete loathing of london, I've become surprisingly happy here. Although the job is demanding so I dont get much time to paint, I'm around creative people doing exciting things all day, so i don't get too frustrated.

OK, So... I have a job!

Next Tuesday I'll be starting work at one of London's major CGI companies, as a coordinator. I'm dead excited but sooo completely scared of moving to London, I'm terrified.

Anyway I'll be moving to sleep on a floor for at least a month, and internet/computer- you can forget it! Consequently I won't be able to upload any more arts, or probably even check DA

So please, keep posting awesome arts and the second I get any chance I'll update here with how i've been getting on.

Looks like Deviant Art and Ebay have the same management and "corporate direction". S'all I'm sayin.

2:1! 2:1! I don't ever have to go back there! 2:1! AHAHAAAHAHAA!

Ok so don't get me wrong, I LOVED my time at uni. I loved the spirit of my course, that our year was one big family, and the years below us were extended family members. I loved the bonding, the laughter, the sheer awesome talent of people, and the way everyone helped and encouraged each other.

What I didnt like was having 9 hours sleep in 72 hours, and becoming so delerious with exhaustion that I heard voices and shoved a pillow up my jumper just so that I had something to love. Oh, and 3-hour long mathematics lessons on a Monday afternoon. And programming- first thing monday morning, every morning...for 3 years.

So, now I'm doing a TEFL course (I'm learning to teach english to overseas learners), hence my commission work is a bit slow- I'm really sorry, I will have updates soon, promise.

AND I DONT EVER HAVE TO GO BACK TO UNI!! 2:1! AHAHAHAHAA!

Thank You so much to everyone who has commissioned me, although I was not able to buy an air-brush this time around, I was able to pay my bills and buy my boyfriend his birthday present, so I'm super-happy. THANK YOU!

Commissions are now closed while I finish the stack I have, and then I will go on to some exercises to help me improve in my understanding of anthro anatomy, because I want to improve! So, it will be a while before I can accept any more commissions, but watchers will be able to see all my gallery uploads of commissions-currently-in-progress.
